who is Jade? well.. lemme tell ya. I'm a little weird. a little hippie, with an incredibly twisted side. I have nothing but love for the dark side. zombies, demons, vampires, etc. its all great fun for me.

Here .well.... its been YEARS. I'm not a chopper anymore. i don't even know if you call it that...but, photoshop has been a thing of the past for me for a while now. I stopped finding joy in the work i did, and got really tired of seeing it stolen and used on websites without attribution. I ended up falling out of the artistic lifestyle for a while. Lost myself, and my career selling flooring. Had more trials and tribulations than i thought i could ever deal with on my own, and some how managed to make it through. Over the last few years, i've focused my work on physical artwork. Jewelry, specifically. I started using recycled copper electrical wire, and 1940s copper radio wire, weaving and wrapping them together in designs that hug and capture natural gemstones. I didn't think of sharing it with deviantart....thinking this was just for my digital works. Now that I've been doing it for a while, i've got a website and i post on facebook. But, i miss the community of artists that i used to

well, i've been here and poking around in the backlogs of things...my inspirations run high, but my energy low. I don't manage to get much done these days, aside from work. I wish i could say i was doing fabulous and turning it all around, but... that's not the way it goes.
So...with this, i will sadly be saying goodbye to my premium membership for a while. I went on a binge of donating points and memberships and didn't even realize i had my own membership expiring.
Maybe i'll learn how much i loved it while i don't have it, and i'll be more grateful for having it once i can again.
anyway....i'll be poking around a lot more... silently wa
