Inner Demons

i had the strangest dream last night....
every mirror i glanced in, i was greeted with a horrific fright...
My skin pulled tight and my lips sewn shut
If only there were scissors to give the strings a cut...
i felt so normal, yet there before me i could see
that was not even close to a normal "me"
the walls surrounded me without even a window
i hadn't even a door through which i could go
there i sat stuck not even able to scream
just waiting to wake from this strange dream...
